Group Progress week 2
This week after we finished with our scripted and story board we started to film. On Wednesday we headed to the location we decided to shoot which was at Amy's house. We started off with the first scene, I remembered what my teacher told us about how we should start it off, which was to start the frame from the bottom to the top to the characters face, so I mentioned it and that's how we started. Today Amy and I started to edit what we got done, I sat down and helped with the beginning edit of the film with the help of my teacher, that's what we have so far.

Our Film Pogress
In my group we have Gustavo, Kurt, Amy, Eric and myself. We have decided to film Gustavo's story. During this week we worked on the script to improve it and add more stuff that we felt could make it better. We decide to use Amy's home for the location of our film and have Eric as the actor. Earlier in the week we went over and took pictures and worked on the scripted as a group. We want to start filming as soon as possible, but we have to finish the storyboard. Once we finish and agree on what the story board will have and be, we will start filming, And hopefully that will be by next week.

can't wait!
http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/movies/moviesnow/la-ca-mn-pirates-of-the-caribbean-5-release-date-20130910,0,5362313.story
The LA Times has posted an article saying that Walt Disney Studios has moved the due date for ''Pirates of the Caribbean 5".The film has not yet started to film but they have decided to have Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg to direct this film. I believe this article is important to post because a lot of people are fans of the series, and are dying to know when it will be released. This article caught my eye because I'm a fan of Johnny Depp and his movies and I chose it because I got excited finding out their will be another movie coming out. The impacted I got as a teen was excitement because I grow up watching all the movies with so much interest. As a future filmmaker and a consumer I learned that if you make a great film like this one and keep it going for years it will become known and people will watch it over and over again. I would like to know if it's taking long to film because they can't think of a good enough story or is their a problem with the budget? Also if theirs a problem with the director?

Do petition's matter?
http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/movies/moviesnow/la-et-mn-fifty-shades-casting-prompts-fan-protest-20130903,0,602348.story
In the new-up coming movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" they have decided that Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson are going to be in the new movie. But the fans of this famous novel weren't pleased with them being cast. With in 24 hours "more than ten thousand users signed a petition that argues that actors Mathew Bomer and Alexis Bledel are better suited for the roles than the two the studio has hired." The thing is that nothing will change just by them making a petition, because the actors they want already have their hands full with other roles and the date is set for the release of this film so they must start as soon as they can, and they just can't wait. I chose this article because I think the fans who are interested in this film will learn why their was a petition in the first place. This article caught my eye because I thought it was funny how the fans of this novel didn't get who they wanted to act in this film. The impact I got as a student from this issue is that its not always up to the fans to chose who they want in their favorite film/novel its up to the director and all the other people involved. As a future film maker and a consumer the impact I got was that if someone thinks the actor I cast isn't good enough and I think they are I wouldn't even bother looking at a petition. I'd like to know what the people thought about this whole issue that are invovled? Did Charlie Hunnam feel he wasn't wanted or good enough to be cast in this film because of the petition?
