"The distribution company that released the movie"

In the article of Open Roads Films, it is discussed that the movie jobs has extended its 100-million revolving credit. The movie is based on a true story, by Steve Jobs the co-founder of Apple Inc. In 2011 they had to go to the banks such as Union Bank, OneWest Bank, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America to get loans to make this movie, and the movie became a success. Once the movie was released in Aug.16 it made up to $12.3 million. I chose this article because I had no idea what this movie was about and reading this article gave me an idea, and it caught my eye because it talked about Steve Jobs the Co-founder of Apple Inc. The impact I got on this article was that I had no idea you had to get loans from so many banks just to make a movie ,and only hope it will become a success. As a future filmmaker you have to have the best actors and best crew so your movie can become a success and have people watch it. As a consumer I wouldn't want to go to the theater to watch an uninteresting film. I want to know if people really went to watch this film because of their interest in Steve Jobs career or because Ashton Kutcher was the star actor?

Mortal Instruments?

In the New up coming movie "The Mortal Instruments" it did not have much critics rutting for it. The movie was from a book and because of that they said that only the people who had read the book will understand the story of the movie, and be interested with it. The movies about a young girl who lives in New York City and finds out that she is "from a long line of half-human and half-angel demon-killer",  and later has to rescue her mother.

This article is important to discuss because if some people were interested to watch, but didn't want to be disappointed on watching it after and have wasted their money on watching it, then this is what they should read to find out, just like me that is what I've wondered and I'm sure their are others. The impacted I got from this article as a teen is that not everybody has an interest from these kind of movies and not everybody will read the book before watching the movie.

As a future filmmaker it tells me that if your film doesn't get that much good reviews, or publicity it might not be as big as others. I wanted to know if the main actors got more publicity when and after doing this movie? Did you think of most of the ideas on your own or did you use exactly what has been said in the book for the film?

Sandusky's Crime

In this news report it is found that a former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky from Penn State has been convicted for sexually abusing boys. Sandusky has been sent to a jail to thirty to sixty years sentence, it is said that he has been doing this to about ten boy in the last fifteen years. Penn State has come to find justice and get the information they need to get the truth and get this man in jail. They won't and haven't said who the victim's name was that came out and said that he was apart of Sandusky's crime, they just called him victim 5. Victim 5 has came to say that Sandusky sexually abused him in the campus showers, and that one of assistant's has seen it and that made him guilty. The reason why I found this article important enough to post is because it is sad to find out a grown old man has done this in his life time, and finally found justice to put him where he belongs. The impact it gave me was that its a true story and people need to understand that their are people like this in the whole, and need to speak up. I wonder why witnesses didn't  say anything at the time? Why didn't someone turn him in before he could have done this to more of the boys? And why didn't any of the boys say anything at the time?
